Gamers get real in Unreal Engine

Using the Unreal Engine platform, students will get to know the fundamentals of game development to create fun and immersive experiences. This course offers students the opportunity to work with an experienced game developer and instructor on the best-practices of UE4 by creating a playable level.

Topics covered: The UE interface, Working with assets, UI design, Mechanics and functionality with Blueprints, level design

What you need to know: This class is meant for beginners without any prior knowledge of Unreal Engine. We’ll provide the instruction you provide the enthusiasm!

Technical requirements: PC that can run UE4, UE4 https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/, Internet connection, Zoom, Discord

Nathan is a graduate with a B.A. in Game Design and Development. He main focus is on level design, gameplay programming and environment art.
